If you’re not happy with that and you use Office 365, you can use “Account Settings” to change the theme, which does show a preview. Microsoft Office 2016 (First perpetual release of Office 16) is a version of the Microsoft Office productivity suite, succeeding both Office 2013 and Office for Mac 2011 and preceding Office 2019 for both platforms.

Unfortunately, Microsoft didn’t provide a preview of the themes with this option, so you’ll have to repeat these steps to view each one. Here, you’ll be able to change your Office background and theme.
